Practically Green Festival - a great success

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the ninth Practically Green Festival on Sunday 16 October at Edendale. It was a wonderful success. In the end, the weather was kind to us, with the 3,500 visitors on the day staying dry!

There was plenty happening on the day including talks from The Rogue Ginger; Erin Rhoads, sharing her tips for a zero waste life with everyone, and Sean Dooley talking all things birds and taking visitors on an impromptu bird watching walk! The Nillumbik Mudbrick Associations mudbrick building demonstrations and JET Charges Tesla were popular with the crowds. With the CFA fire truck proving a big hit with the younger crowds!

As always there were many varied and interesting stall holders on site with products and services to help make you, your family and your home more sustainable. The Practically Green Festival community committee visited all the stalls and awards for the Best Exhibitors were presented to:

  • Kinglake Plumbing – Gold Exhibitor
  • Mega Building Industries – Silver Exhibitor
  • Feralex Pest Control – Bronze Exhibitor

If you attended the Festival we would really value your feedback on the day and your ideas for future festivals by completing our visitor survey

The Festival would not be possible without our sponsors and we thank them for their ongoing support:
