Entry and access
Enter the Festival on foot via Gastons Road entrance. If you require a disability parking place or disability access, contact Edendale 9443 3711 before the event to arrange details.
The site is fully accessible. It has concrete walking paths and ramps to buildings and gravel path access to animal areas and café.
Travel to the Festival
Ride a bike
Edendale is located on the Diamond Creek Trail. When you ride your bike to the Festival members of the NillumBUG cycling group will supervise bike parking and hold your bike for the day. You will be rewarded with a plant voucher for riding to the event.
Catch a train
Take the Hurstbridge line to Eltham Station. A free shuttle bus service is available at Eltham station and caters for people with mobility constraints. Alternatively it is a 20 minute walk to the Festival.
Limited parking is available at
- Eltham North Adventure Playground
- Dansey’s Paddock on Wattletee Road next to the Men’s shed
- Street parking in and around Wattletree and Main Roads
Gaston’s Road will be closed to cars from 6.30am to 5.30pm

There will be two qualified first aiders at the first aid stand throughout the event
If you require assistance or have any questions, there will be volunteers at the Information stand outside the main reception building throughout the festival.
Sunscreen will be available at the Information stand.
The aquaBUBBLER is a water station for filling drinking bottles with tap water. It is near the Macy training room. There is also a Hydration Station available, just follow the signs.
- Help us to reduce festival waste by bringing along your re-useable coffee cups, plates, cutlery and water bottles
- Do not bring glass bottles or drinking glasses
- Alcohol can be purchased but please do not bring your own alcohol
- Dogs are not permitted
- Balloons are not permitted
