Arts Advisory Committee
Expressions of interest have now closed.
We are looking for seven representatives from our diverse artistic and cultural community to play a key role in developing our Arts and Cultural Plan 2018-2022, advise on the ongoing implementation and evaluation of that plan, and advise on art acquisitions for the Nillumbik Shire Art Collection. The Arts Advisory Committee (AAC) will represent a wide cross-section of the community, be committed to supporting the vibrant artistic and cultural community in Nillumbik and have strong links to the Shire and provide expert knowledge and advice on arts and culture.
The seven members will represent three areas based on the National Arts and Culture Accord:
Core arts (e.g. music, performing arts, literature, visual arts, cultural venues, events, education institutions)
Creative industries (e.g. publishing, film, television, new media, fashion, design)
Cultural heritage (e.g. museums, galleries, libraries, indigenous)
The members must be able to commit to a two year period. Applications close Monday 1 May 2017, 5pm.
