Eltham Library Community Gallery (ELCG)

Eltham Library Community Gallery is a community gallery. Exhibition proposals are sought annually from individual artists, artist groups or organisations and curators who live, work, study or have strong, ongoing links to the Shire of Nillumbik. Please read the ELCG Exhibitor Information and Conditions of Use 2018_2019 below.

ELCG exhibitors are assisted with:

  • generously subsidised gallery hire
  • insurance available for eligible exhibitors
  • no commission charged on sales
  • support with installation and promotion
  • inclusion in annually published exhibition program

Applications to exhibit in 2019 closed on 13 August 2018. Successful exhibitors will be notified in October 2019.
Applications to exhibit in 2020 will open on 1 July 2019.

Renewal-Black Saturday Memorial Exhibition

Applications open 31 August – 5pm, 5 October 2018

Eltham Library Community Gallery and Wadambuk Art Gallery, St Andrews will host special memorial exhibitions to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Black Saturday. The exhibitions, called Renewal, will run from 24 January until 25 February 2019.

Exhibition applications are sought from community members who live, work, study, or have a strong connection to, Nillumbik Shire.

Artworks should respond to the theme of Renewal. All art mediums are eligible.

Only 1 (one) artwork per applicant. All artworks will be included in the exhibition via physical or digital display. All applicants will be included in the exhibition.   

Exhibitors will receive:

  • waived gallery hire fee
  • no commission charged on sales
  • support with installation and promotion
  • inclusion in exhibition program
  • public liability insurance cover
