Dust off your flairs and prepare to disco like it’s 1977!

It’s time to celebrate 40 years of the Warrandyte Festival! Come and join us as we eat, drink, dance, billy-cart, parade, create, sing, watch films and celebrate on the banks of Yarra River in beautiful bushy Warrandyte.

There will be a craft market, delicious food stalls, live music, a light sculpture competition, dance classes, street parade and loads more!

Festival goers view the wattles in a blaze of glory along the Diamond Creek as they approach the township of Hurstbridge. As visitors stroll the main street and the various Festival precincts, they enjoy a fabulous and extensive array of entertainment, events and activities for all the family, many of them free.

Eltham Mudbrick House Tour

The tour starts at Montsalvat, 7 Hillcrest Crescent, Eltham

Join us in celebrating our architectural heritage. Nillumbik Shire is unique in its mudbrick architecture that has accumulated over more than half a century of experimentation, design and construction.

Local architects today estimate that there are over 1,300 mudbrick houses within the shire. The tour invites you to discover our local architectural heritage with homes open for one day only.

Cost: Adult: $25, Concession (Seniors/Students/Health card holders): $20 and children under 16 are free.

Eltham Copper Butterfly Festival

Come and enjoy performance by local primary school children to celebrate the Eltham Copper Butterfly and the community effort spanning more than 25 years to protect this extraordinary species.

There will be activities for children, music and plenty of space to spread out a picnic rug in the beautiful natural surrounds. Cafe Eden will also be open for coffee, cakes and ice creams.
