This is an affordable door-to-door transport service for residents who are unable to get to medical appointments because they cannot drive and have limited access to other transport options. This service operates on weekdays and is subject to availability.
Medical transport is for residents who are 65 years of age or over, are registered with My Aged Care, and have been referred to Council for medical transport services.
Residents who are under 65 years of age, do not receive NDIS support, and have limited physical mobility are welcome to contact Council on 9433 3384 to discuss their situation. Council is not a registered NDIS provider.
Passengers are required to be independently mobile and able to get in and out of a car independently. Drivers can assist with seatbelts and loading/unloading mobility aids as needed.
