School Holiday Bus in the June-July school holidays

Get out and about in the school holidays

The community bus will be operating around the Shire along the same route as the Saturday Bus on Tuesdays and Fridays during the school holidays.

The bus times coincide with Hurstbridge train schedule so, for a gold coin donation, take the bus!

  • Tuesday 30 June
  • Friday 3 July
  • Tuesday 7 July
  • Friday 10 July

Nillumbik Shire Council works with the Saturday Bus Committee and a team of volunteer drivers to provide transport for teenagers living in areas not serviced by public transport.

Enquiries to 9433 3723 or email angela.draper@nillumbik.vic.gov.au

Volunteer Drivers Needed

The Saturday Bus is a wonderful community service that relies on a team of volunteers to keep it going. We are always keen to hear from community minded people who would like to join out team. If you would like to become a volunteer driver, call Angela on 9433 3723 or email angela.draper@nillumbik.vic.gov.au.

Saturday Bus

The bus travels from Hurstbridge train station to Panton Hill, Smiths Gully, St Andrews, Cottles Bridge and back to Hurstbridge. It is a great way to visit the St Andrews Market, or venues such as the Panton Hill Hotel for lunch, without having to worry about parking or driving.

Your gold coin donation is appreciated and helps keep the bus running.

The Autumn Winter timetable will be in effect until Saturday 3 October 2015

Thanks to our awesome team of dedicated volunteer drivers and our sponsors, the St Andrews Market Committee

Total Fire Ban days

The Saturday Bus will not run on days of Total Fire Ban. Updates will be posted on the Saturday Community Bus Facebook page.

Disabled access

Passengers with specific access requirements (including wheelchair users) are asked to call 9433 3723 by the Wednesday before they intend to travel.
