Nillumbik is within 30 minutes of Melbourne’s CBD and the Melbourne airport, and can be reached via the Hurstbridge train line from central Melbourne.

It is a destination synonymous with good food, wine and art, heritage, romantic getaways and gourmet weekends. Nillumbik is part of the highly regarded Yarra Valley Wine Region and boasts a number of award winning boutique wineries.

There’s plenty to do for all ages in Nillumbik. You can ride the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway or take a leisurely stroll through the St Andrews Market on Saturday mornings, or take a bike ride or walk along its many trails.

Make a day of it or stay awhile – Nillumbik offers mudbrick cottages, bed and breakfasts in vineyards, romantic retreats nestled in private valleys of natural bushland, a cosy bed and breakfast within walking distance of town or there is motel-style accommodation on the main road.

Happy customers ride the Diamond Valley Miniature Railway.
