| | Introducing Nillumbik talkback Would you like to be involved in making decisions about the services and programs Council provide and raise issues which affect you, your family and neighbours?
Nillumbik Shire Council is inviting local residents to become talkback members. We are keen to get your views on a range of Council issues.
What is Nillumbik talkback? Nillumbik talkback is a panel of community members who represent the voice of our community.
We would like to gauge your level of satisfaction with our services, by determining how informed you are and how you feel about issues that are important to you.
As a panel member, you will have the opportunity to provide us with feedback about issues concerning your community, ensuring Nillumbik residents have an increased say in Council's decision-making process.
Council wants to make Nillumbik a better place to live, for you and your community. Your feedback will help us achieve this goal.
What is involved? The level of participation in our surveys will differ from member to member, depending on the areas of interest you have indicated on this membership form and what issues or services Council is conducting surveys on each year.
You are not expected to complete every survey offered to you, or attend every discussion or focus group we invite you to, we would just like you to participate whenever you can.
Details of the types of areas we may survey are listed on the application form below. Please indicate the areas you are interested in having your say on.
Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw your membership at any time. You can choose how you would like to participate - by mail, electronic surveys, discussion or focus group.
Who can join? We would like to hear from all types of people living or working in Nillumbik, regardless of your age or interests.
How do I become a member? You can join talkback by filling in the electronic application form below, or by completing the hard copy application form, downloadable from this page, and posting it back to Council. Hard copy brochures are also available from information stands throughout the Shire.
How do I find out more information? For more information about Nillumbik talkback, please call Dimitra Bitsas on (03) 9433 3188 or email talkback@nillumbik.vic.gov.au . |
