Green Wedge Management Plan logo 2007
Council has completed its draft Green Wedge Management Plan and Implementation Plan and is seeking comment.

The Nillumbik Green Wedge is important for both the people of Nillumbik and the wider Melbourne community. If you live in, work in, visit, or have an interest in its future, we encourage you to read the draft plan and write to us with your comments.

The draft plan is available as a download (see right) or you can collect a printed copy from the Civic Centre, Civic Drive, Greensborough. Green Wedge Bulletin 5, November 2009 (download right) provides a general overview of the plan and its content.

Please send your feedback in writing, marked GWMP and post, e-mail or submit online as follows. The closing date for submissions is Monday 1 March 2010.

Please note that comments relating to site specific requests such as re-zoning or sub-division are not part of the scope of the Green Wedge management Plan and will not be considered as part of its review.

All submissions to the draft GWMP will be published on this website and a folder will be available for inspection at the Civic Centre.
 
Drop-in information Session
Monday 14 December 2008
3pm – 8pm
Panton Hill Hall, Kangaroo Ground - St Andrews Road, Panton Hill

You are welcome to drop-in at any time between 3pm and 8pm. There will be information on the draft GWMP and Council Officers are available to discuss your questions.

This event will be cancelled if there is a Total Fire Ban declared for 14 December 2009. You should also be aware of published fire danger ratings and take these into consideration.
