Draft Hurstbridge Concept Plan
As part of its long term strategy, Nillumbik Shire Council plans to provide Hurstbridge with improved access to community and recreation services and facilities.

The Hurstbridge Concept Plan incorporates Ferguson Paddock and surrounding open space corridor. The development of the Hurstbridge Concept Plan is a first step in other more detailed planning and implementation processes.

The aim in this Hurstbridge Concept Plan is to provide a strategic direction for the future development of the park by establishing a priority works plan that is achievable and balances the needs of permanent tenants and casual visitors, passive and active recreational and environmental concerns.

At the ordinary meeting of Council on the 6 October 2009, Council resolved to adopt the Draft Hurstbridge Concept Plan for the purpose of public consultation.
