Council’s hard waste collection will be running through October to the first week of November. The Shire has been organised into five collection areas with one week allocated to each area.

| The five things you need to know: 1. Each resident will receive a collection brochure approximately two weekends prior to their collection outlining when to have materials ready for collection. 2. Materials must not be placed out for collection any earlier than TEN DAYS prior to your collection date. 3. All materials need to be placed out neatly in two piles, one for metal, and one for other items, ready for collection on the nature strip BEFORE 6am on the date shown on your brochure. 4. There is a limit of two cubic metres (1m wide x 1m high x 2m long) of hard waste per household that can be placed out for collection. 5. There are a number of items that will not be collected. Check the list below or the brochure for excluded items. | |
