Tender Lodgement Guidelines
This service does not provide for lodging your tender response. Instructions for lodgement are specified in each tender conditions document. A tender response (submission) must comprise of:
- Tender Declaration Form (signed by the Tenderer, or duly authorised representative)
- Tender Schedules
- Information requested in the Tender documentation, and
- Any other documents that you want to substantiate your tender submission.
Lodging Your Tender
Tenderers must deliver and submit their submission in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the contract title and number and must be placed in the Tender Box before the closing date and time.

Procurement Policy
The Procurement Policy has been developed in accordance with Section 186(A) of the Local Government Act 1989.
The purpose of this Policy is to set out the key policies and principles forming the framework for procurement at Nillumbik. The policies and principles aim to ensure that procurements are undertaken in a consistent and robust manner; are consistent with Council objectives; comply with all applicable legislation; are undertaken in a way that demonstrates accountability to rate payers; and meet the expected standards of probity.
The Procurement Policy and Guidelines were developed and adopted by Council in June 2011.

Council does not accept tenders by mail, fax or e-mail.
Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any tender, or to accept more than one tender.
Tenderers are not to rely on electronic versions of plans or drawings. Tenderers must not use or reply on plans or drawings obtained directly or indirectly via electronic transmission as they may not be accurately reproduced, this includes without limitation plans, drawings from this internet site.
