Nillumbik Shire Council is inviting local businesses to partner with us as sponsors for Nillumbik Small Business Week 25-29 May 2026, a flagship week-long program celebrating our thriving business community through workshops, networking and professional development.
This is a chance to position your brand alongside a Council-led initiative that fosters business resilience, connection and innovation, while directly supporting the growth of Nillumbik’s local economy.
The week-long event attracts a highly engaged audience through multiple events, offering sponsors direct access to local business owners, operators and industry professionals.

Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be an Australian-registered business with a valid ABN, ideally located or operating within Nillumbik Shire Council.
- Applicants must demonstrate alignment with Nillumbik Shire Council’s values, Nillumbik Shire’s Council Plan and Economic Development Strategy.
- Applicants must not have any outstanding debts, unresolved compliance matters, or legal disputes with Nillumbik Shire Council that could reasonably impact Council’s operations or reputation.
- Applicants must not be disqualified from or currently participating in any other Council procurement, contracting, or sponsorship processes at the time of application, unless disclosed and approved by the Economic Development and Procurement teams.
- Applicants must not present a conflict of interest (actual, perceived or potential) that could compromise the integrity of the EOI process. If a conflict of interest is identified in relation to the applicant’s relationship with Council staff or elected representatives, it must be disclosed. Council reserves the right to withdraw consideration of EOIs where a conflict may unfairly influence assessment or decision making.
- Applicants must not operate in a sector deemed incompatible with Council’s values and reputation, including (but not limited to) gambling, tobacco and adult services.
