Trauma Teddies

Across Australia, tens of thousands of Trauma Teddies are given out each year to a diverse range of services and organisations providing care to our communities, and to young people and children who have been impacted by trauma – from illnesses, fire, floods or other disasters.

According to the Red Cross, more than one million children have cuddled a colourful, comforting Trauma Teddy since they first started the project back in 1990.

The program has now ended at Nillumbik but the good work continues via the Red Cross. If you would like to know more or to participate, visit the Red Cross
