In exciting news, our leisure centres and Edendale Community Environment Farm are among further Council facilities gradually reopening from tomorrow, following the easing of Victorian Government COVID-19 restrictions.

However, density limits and restrictions on group numbers mean that some services are unable to resume in full at this time and we thank you for your patience as we continue our efforts to keep our community safe.

We ask visitors to all our facilities follow the COVID-safe guidelines including wearing masks indoors and checking in with the Service Victoria QR Code for contact tracing purposes.

From tomorrow, the gym and pool at the Eltham Leisure Centre will be available for booked sessions, with group fitness operating on a reduced timetable. Swim school classes remain on hold under current restrictions.

The Diamond Creek Community Centre will reopen for booked visits to the gym with group fitness operating on a reduced timetable.

Both the Community Bank Stadium and Hurstbridge Basketball Stadium (link) will be open for user group bookings only.

Edendale Community Environment Farm, including Café Eden and the plant nursery, will reopen 9.30am-3pm daily for booked sessions here.

Community sport is back for competition and training, subject to conditions including density limits for facilities.

Our customer service desk in Greensborough, the Recycling Centre in Plenty, the Hurstbridge Hub, Eltham Library and Yarrambat Park Golf Course have already reopened. A Library Click & Collect service is operating out of the Shire Office while the Diamond Valley Library is being upgraded.

Our community bus will resume its normal service from Monday 21 June and includes transport for medical appointments, shopping and social outings.

We will continue to monitor the situation as the restrictions change and keep you updated.
