Service changes following easing of COVID-19 restrictions
Published on 29 September 2020
Nillumbik Shire Council advises there are some minor changes to services following the Victorian Government’s announcement of the second step of the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
The State Government has announced outdoor pools are now permitted to reopen, with significant restrictions.
This means the annual reopening date for the Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool of 1 November 2020 can go ahead as planned.
Council and Aligned Leisure – which manages the pool on behalf of Council – are working through these restrictions to determine what opportunities exist to open any sooner.
We will keep residents updated about any changes.
Childcare centres, including the Eltham and Panton Hill playhouses, can now open for all children, not only children of permitted workers.

We look forward to reopening these facilities when further easing of restrictions allow.
