Tree policy and guidelines
There are more than 500,000 trees on Nillumbik reserves, roadsides and other Council-owned or managed properties. The Nillumbik Tree Management Policy 2018(DOCX, 362KB) and Nillumbik Tree Management Guidelines 2018(DOCX, 4MB) outline our commitment to managing and caring for these trees in line with best practice and legislative requirements and in the interests of public safety, conservation and tree health.

Signs are maintained, and damaged or missing signs replaced.

Easement pits are maintained reactively.
Drainage pit lids
Damaged or missing pit lids are hazardous and are replaced as soon as identified or reported
