Clean, green home inspiration

If you’d like to know more about energy efficiency, electric vehicles, solar panels or passive solar design, come along to Clean Energy Nillumbik’s (CEN) virtual Expert Eco Chats event on Saturday 18 September, from 2-4pm.

Due to uncertainty around Covid restrictions, this year’s Expert Eco Chats will be held via Zoom. Attendees will be able to ask for personalised advice on a range of topics from new house design to landscaping, renovation and retrofitting.

Mayor Peter Perkins said Council is pleased to partner with CEN to bring the popular event back for 2021.

“Nillumbik has been a leader in adopting sustainable practices for a long time, and events like Expert Eco Chats help reinforce this reputation,” Cr Perkins said.

“The event provides an opportunity to find ideas and inspiration for making your home more sustainable, whether it’s a new build or retrofit.

“With the event adapted to be virtual due to COVID restrictions, it’s even more accessible than ever – you can speak with individual experts from the comfort of your own home,” he said.

Council is a sponsor of Clean Energy Nillumbik’s events. To sign up for Expert Eco Chats, visit CEN’s website. Please note, advance registration is required.
