It's Spring! After a cold winter and continued lockdowns, the sunshine and warmer weather are the perfect opportunity to get outside and connect with nature, even if it's in our own back yards.
Spring Outdoors is an annual program of environmental events brought to you by Manningham, Banyule City Council and Nillumbik Shire Council. Join us in a range of outdoor and online experiences where you can connect, learn and protect our natural environment and biodiversity.
There’ll be gardening tutorials, educational seminars and virtual events available for online and in your local community. There will be something for everyone including home growers, nature lovers, kids and families.
With COVID-19 restrictions continuing, the calendar of events kicks off with a great range online information sessions and tutorials to do at home to help beat lockdown boredom.
Events scheduled for later in Spring will be determined by the current COVID guidelines. Many of those planned to take place in person will be able to switch to online as required to help keep our community safe. Keep an eye on our calendar on this page for the latest updates.
Banyule and Manningham councils are also running their own program of events, click on the links for more information.
