Holiday Art Fun - Hot Teddies

Join Diamond Valley Art society in the Mummery Room for a hands-on fun activity

• Aimed at 8 to 15 year-olds.
• Make a warming Wheat Bag Bear to take home with you. 
• Practicing artists will lead the children.
• Only 10 participants per class.

These little teddies are made from polar fleecy in a kit form that just needs wheat to be added, small slit sewn up and then a small bow added around the neck.

The supplied kit contains all that is needed: instructions, sewn teddy, Aussie wheat, cotton, needle and ribbon for a bow. Lots of designs to choose from.

Children can experience the joy of following instructions and putting together this adorable little teddy that can heated in a microwave for 1 minute and be snugly and warm to take to bed.

Parking

As the farm can be very busy over the school holidays, please allow plenty of time to find a carpark and make your way into Edendale.

If our parking lot is full, you can find additional parking at the Eltham North Adventure Playground. Follow the bike path for an easy (accessible) 5-minute walk and you will arrive at our North Entrance gate. See attached map.

Note:

• Parents / caregivers must stay with participants or remain nearby and contactable by phone on site, they must not leave children unattended at the site.

• Sessions start at set time and run for45 minutes.
