Join us for a compelling series of FREE seminars in March, 2024. Our expert speakers will present key information on a range of climate and environment issues, and inspire us with how we can face the emergency with courage, and act!

Nillumbik Climate Action Team, with support from Nillumbik Shire Council Community Grants program, are excited to bring you this great line-up of presentations on these important issues. Expert speakers present sessions over two weekends ( -3 March and 16-17 March). All welcome.

Positive everyday choices - Lucinda Flynn

Hope and courage in the climate crisis - John Wiseman

This presentation will cover topics including social justice, citizen engagement, sustainability transitions, climate change risks and solutions.

Sunday 3 March

Carbon in the soil - Bev Middleton

This presentation looks at raising awareness of the importance and benefits of healthy living soil and empowering the community to take action.

Practical solutions for your food waste - Bev Middleton

Find the method that suits you for dealing with your food waste. This session will be conducted outside at Edendale Farm and tailored to participants' individual waste requirements.

The impact of fire - Mike Clarke
