Next date: Sunday, 01 October 2023 | 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM

Hurstbridge Market showcases an eclectic mix of stalls, including produce, hot food, artists, makers, plants, bric-a-brac, clothing and other small businesses.

Run on the first Sunday of each month at Hurstbridge Primary School.

Why not stay a little longer?

Here are some after-market ideas on what to do and where to go.

Hurstbridge is a quaint township with plenty to explore after your visit to the market. There are some lovely retail shops, bric-a-brac stores with gems to discover and the local delis are full of artisan-baked treats. You can also learn about the history of Hurstbridge with a self-guided tour throughout the town.

Did you know that for a little town, Hurstbridge has some big names in the food and beverage scene. Black Vice recently received a shout out as one of Melbourne’s best café/coffee breweries, Restaurant St Lawrence a la carte menu changes monthly and is to die for and Nillumbik’s only two hatted restaurant Greasy Zoes offers an intimate dining experience that you will treasure. Bookings are necessary though so plan your visit.

The fabulous Diamond Creek Trail begins (or does it end?) at Hurstbridge. This track is easy to navigate and is perfect for walking, running, family bike rides or even a horse ride! There are picnic tables scattered along the trail, perfect for an after-market lunch or just a rest during your walk. The trail meanders its way through Wattle Glen to Diamond Creek township and then onto Eltham. If fact – the trail then connects to the Main Yarra Trail which will take you all of the way into Melbourne city. Diamond Creek Trail

For the kids there are playgrounds with space to run and kick the footy or ride their bikes This includes Anzac Memorial Park, Ben Frilay Reserve, Fergusons Paddock and the Hurstbridge BMX and Stake park. Check out all the parks and playgrounds in the Shire.
