Nillumbik Shire Council manages sports grounds for a variety of sports including football, cricket, soccer, rugby, lacrosse and baseball. All grounds can be hired casually or for a sporting season.

How to apply

Casual bookings

Step 1.Insurance

Make sure you have public liability insurance for a minimum $10 million.

Step 2.Other permits

Check what other requirements you might need to meet, including permits, when planning a festival or event.

Step 3.Read the terms and conditions

Read hire conditions for community and commercial use or hire conditions for school use.

Step 4.Submit the online form

Seasonal bookings

Community sporting organisations can hire sports grounds and pavilions for a sporting season.

Sporting season Start date Finish date
Winter 1 April 30 September
Summer 1 October 31 March
