Online Workshop: How to start a business: Concept Validation
Victorian businesses have been confronted by unexpected challenges in 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted business across the board, while the devastation of the Victorian bushfires has had a significant indirect impact on the businesses in bushfire affected zones and surrounding regions.
The “How to Start a Business” workshop series aims to help participants who are looking to start a new business in the midst of COVID-19 and in the wake of the bushfires.
Concept validation uses design thinking to confirm whether your product/service fits within the market and how you can access that demand. Design thinking applies a human-centric approach to your idea and a solutions-based approach to solving problems.
Here is a quick taste of some of the topics we’ll discuss:
- What problems are you addressing?
- How does your business solve this problem?
- What are the key features of your product/service?
This online workshop is for program participants who want to:
- Start a new business
- Develop an alternative business concept
- Validate your business through demand
