Warrandyte Festival - 2021 Festival postponed

Location: Banks of the Yarra, Warrandyte Township and Stiggants Reserve, Yarra Street, Warrandyte

Join in the festivities as we eat, drink, dance, billy-cart, parade, create, sing, watch films and celebrate on the banks of Yarra River in beautiful bushy Warrandyte.

AUGUST

Hurstbridge Wattle Festival - date to be confirmed

Location: Hurstbridge Township

The Hurstbridge Wattle Festival is a significant cultural event for Melbournians that has its roots firmly planted in our early rail history. It’s a joyous celebration of our heritage, environment and community.

Festival goers view the wattles in a blaze of glory along the Diamond Creek as they approach the township of Hurstbridge. As visitors stroll the main street and the various Festival precincts, they enjoy a fabulous and extensive array of entertainment, events and activities for all the family, many of them free.

Diamond Creek Rotary Town Fair - date to be confirmed

From our rich heritage, we can experience and taste a variety of foods from many different countries. So, hop in and enjoy the extensive selection of food experiences that will be on show at this year’s Spring Town Fair!

OCTOBER

Eltham Mudbrick Tour - date to be confirmed

Location: Various locations

Join us in celebrating our architectural heritage. Nillumbik Shire is unique in its mudbrick architecture that has accumulated over more than half a century of experimentation, design and construction.

Local architects today estimate that there are over 1,300 mudbrick houses within the shire. The tour invites you to discover our local architectural heritage with homes open for one day only.

Nillumbik Pet Expo - date to be confirmed

Location: Marngrook Oval, Diamond Creek

The Nillumbik Pet Expo attracts thousands of pet owners and animal lovers.

Attractions include dog obedience displays, pet competitions, an animal nursery, snake handling display and a chance to meet Council’s rangers and local vets to have all your pet questions answered.

On the Hill Festival - date to be confirmed

Location: Firefighters Memorial Park, Main Road, Panton Hill

On the Hill Festival is a day of free activities, nature, culture, music and fabulous food for the whole family.

Made On the Hill is a celebration and exhibition of craft, baking, local garden produce, preserves, floral art and writing.
