International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) Grants
As part of the Council Plan 2017 – 2021, Nillumbik Shire Council has committed to support initiatives that promote inclusivity, so everyone is valued and our diversity is celebrated.
IDAHOBIT grants are designed to support community groups and not-for-profit organisations to promote and celebrate LGBTI diversity and inclusion by creating new or highlighting existing community activities, projects, or events .

Council is working in partnership with our Inclusion Advisory Committee and our Internal LGBTI Working Group to provide a number of grants up to $1,000, with a total grant pool of $5000.
Grants must not be used to fund wages or in-kind hours.
Grant applications open Thursday 28 February 2019
Grant applications close 5pm Friday 22 March 2019
Projects must be undertaken between 17 May – 17 June 2019.
All applicants will be notified via phone and email of the outcome of their application by Friday 29 March 2019.
