International Day of People with Disability
We welcome grant applications to host an International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) event in November or December 2019.
Nillumbik Shire Council is offering a number of grants of up to $1,000 to get community celebrations underway.
IDPwD is a United Nations sanctioned day held on December 3 each year. The day seeks to highlight the contributions people with disability make across the community in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
About the grants
The IDPwD Grants are designed to support community groups, schools and not-for-profit organisations to build on an existing event or propose a new community activity, project or event to celebrate IDPwD 2019.
This is an opportunity to get creative, innovative and be part of this year’s celebration by submitting your ideas to us.
