Nillumbik Equine Industry and Activity Plan

Council Plan 2017-2021 outlines support for the equine community through the development of an Equine Industry and Activity Plan.

To develop and inform a draft Plan, Council engaged consultants to undertake an economic impact analysis, facilities audit and an opportunities analysis.

The aim of the draft Equine Industry and Activity Plan is to understand how Council can work collaboratively with the equine community to better support them, as well as recognise the historic importance of horses, and how they continue to play an important role in our community's culture, economy and heritage.

Keep up-to-date

Once the plan is drafted we will be engaging with all residents in the shire so there will a chance for the broader community in Nillumbik to have a say.

Please stay tuned to this page, Council's regular communication channel or subscribe to Nillumbik Business News to keep up-to-date with this and other important projects.
