2019 Victorian Senior of the Year Award

Nominations for the 2019 Victorian Senior of the Year are now open.
Last year's awards recognised advocates for social justice, our heritage and the environment, front line providers of support for carers, members of the Stolen Generation and refugees, people responding to community health needs, educators and cultural workers, people representing their communities and changing social attitudes and long-term volunteers driving local support and emergency response services.
There are five categories under which you can nominate individuals, please see the nomination form attached below. You can click here to read about previous award recipients or to download additional forms.
Nominations will be accepted until Friday 5 July 2019.
All nominees receive a certificate of recognition signed by the Premier and the Minister for Disability, Ageing and Carers. The awards will be presented at a ceremony at Government House on Thursday 3 October 2019.
