Open Farm Day 2019

Farmer with looking over his sheep

Ever wondered what it’s like to be a farmer or eat home grown produce? Open Farm Day is your chance to visit working farms, meet local farmers and eat and drink local produce. Farms and businesses across Nillumbik, Whittlesea and Kinglake Ranges are opening their gates on Sunday 7 April from 10am - 4pm to showcase farming on Melbourne’s fringe.

A diverse mix of farms are found in the region including fruit and veggie farms, livestock and animal farms, orchards and vineyards. Choose the farms you want to visit to make your own Open Farm Day trail and experience:

  • farm tours
  • demonstrations
  • farm animals
  • product tastings
  • and more…
