Yarra Valley Custom Meats are a family run farm retail butcher shop that specialises in free range pork, lamb and beef. The shop is open seven days a week and offers the paddock to plate experience for people interested in where their meat comes from.
For Open Farm Day they are offering special butchering and sausage making demonstrations.
- Butchery demonstrations, breaking down lamb at 10.30am
- Sausage making demonstrations at 12pm and 2.30pm
- A talk on what cuts are Best for Roasting, Slow Cooking, BBQ Meats, and any question and answer time. 11.30am and 3.30pm.
Farm gate sales: Gourmet beef, lamb, pork and sausages plus free range eggs and local trout and olive oil – shop open until 5.30pm
