History & Heritage Grants
History is the study of past events. Heritage refers to treasured objects and qualities that have been passed down from previous generations.
Grants up to $600 from a grant pool of $8,400 available
History and heritage contributes to shaping our community. Activities involving history and heritage enrich our lives, allow us to share our stories and explore what has passed, whilst also informing the future. This in turn can aid our health and wellbeing, enhance knowledge and skills, build connections and bring joy.
Our History & Heritage Grant Program aims to fund history and/or heritage projects within Nillumbik Shire.
Priority will be given to new and innovative grant projects that provide opportunities for community to engage with our local history and heritage as part of an active and creative lifestyle.
All History & Heritage Grant applications will be assessed by Council’s Arts and Cultural Development Grants Assessment Panel which will include representation from the Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee (ACAC).
Projects must be delivered and funds spent by 30 June 2021
