Renew your dog or cat registration

Every year, Council sends all registered cat and dog owners a renewal notice. You need to renew your registration by 10 April each year.

How to renew your registration

Online

Step 1.Have your pet registration renewal notice with you

Find the Record Number under Pet Details

If you have not received your renewal notice, or have misplaced it, please contact Community Safety at nillumbik@nillumbik.vic.gov.au or 03 9433 3111, confirm your name and address, and a member of the team will email a copy to you.

Step 2.Have your credit card ready

Please note we do not accept Diners Club and American Express

Step 1.Bring your notice with you

Step 2.Pay

Pay with cash, cheque, money order, EFTPOS, Mastercard or Visa. Please note we do not accept Diners Club and American Express

Step 1.Prepare a cheque or money order

Payable to "Nillumbik Shire Council" and crossed "Not Negotiable" 

Step 2.Send with your renewal notice in the reusable envelope to
