Circular economy

The circular economy is a new term for a more sustainable way of doing business.

A circular economy aims to minimise waste and keep resources in circulation for as long as possible. This can be achieved in many ways – think recycling, refurbishing, reusing, remanufacturing and more.

By contrast, the traditional economic approach is linear, with a take, make, waste model: raw materials are extracted, made into products, then discarded.

For businesses, a circular economy approach can help cut costs, improve efficiency, promote innovation and even unlock new revenue streams.
