Rates, valuations and property

Council collects rates to provide more than 100 services for our community and to maintain and improve our resources, infrastructure and assets.

As well as Council’s property rates and waste management charges, your rate notice includes charges that Council must collect on behalf of the Victorian Government, including the Waste Levy and the recently introduced Emergency Services Volunteers Fund.
