Nillumbik Youth is part of a range of services that Council provides to the local community.

Nillumbik Youth ensures that the young people of Nillumbik feel heard, empowered and equipped to thrive in our community.

Services are for every young person between the age of 12 and 25 who lives, works, studies or plays in Nillumbik.

Young people can connect with Nillumbik Youth to:

  • engage with the local community
  • make a difference through volunteering
  • connect with other young people through programs and events
  • get information and access support services
  • learn new skills.

Nillumbik Youth does not offer case management or crisis intervention services, however they collaborate and network with local services, youth organisations, youth workers and education providers to ensure young people have the services and opportunities they need. This includes participating in youth network meetings, input into youth policies and advocating for service needs for young people in the area.
