Community Connect Network
Nillumbik’s Community Connect Network brings together a range of passionate community groups from across the Shire.
Members build capacity and connections within the local area through monthly online or face-to-face meetings, information sharing and networking opportunities.
The network was established in 2020 in response to COVID-19, as a way to keep community connected. It has since grown into a large community network driven by local community groups and leaders.
The network provides an opportunity to share information and collaborate on projects and initiatives, aimed at strengthening the health and wellbeing of the Nillumbik community.
Network meetings
The Community Connect Network is facilitated by Council’s Community Development team and meetings are scheduled monthly.
Meeting minutes are taken and shared with the wider network, including all of the promotional material that is submitted from the participating community groups.
Based on the feedback received via the 2025 CCN end of year survey, the meetings will be held bi-monthly at 10am on the third Thursday with a mix of online and in-person sessions to accommodate everyone.
