Kangaroo Ground War Memorial Tower will be closed due to plaque cleaning and polishing works.
Following the recent completion of the restoration works at Kangaroo Grounds War Memorial Tower, further improvement works will be undertaken to clean and polish the commemorative plaques at the site.
Works are scheduled to commence on 17 March 2026 and are expected to take approximately two weeks to complete, subject to weather conditions.
During this period, temporary fencing will be installed around the work area, and public access to the tower will not be available while the works are underway. These measures are necessary to ensure public safety and allow the works to be completed efficiently.
