Dry Season - Drought Management Workshop

decorative

Whether you're a full-time producer, a small-scale grower, or a lifestyle landholder, this free workshop offers practical support to help you plan, adapt and move forward during tough seasons.

This session will be led by Malcolm Cock of Farm Dynamics Consulting, a local advisory service committed to helping farmers make confident, practical decisions on farm.

Malcolm has more than 30 years experience working directly with livestock producers across the state, with a focus on on whole-farm planning, pasture and livestock management, and navigating seasonal and business challenges. You’ll walk away with insights and ideas to help you manage:

  • Yourself: How to recognise stress, maintain wellbeing and build resilience
  • Your finances: Tips for staying in control during uncertain times
  • Your livestock: Stock management and feed planning through low-growth periods
  • Your farm environment: Making decisions that support land health and productivity

There will also be a focus on planning towards pasture recovery as we look to the months ahead.
