Get on Your Bike

This low-cost course is designed for people new to or coming back to cycling and will be conducted by a highly qualified instructor and bike coach from Bike it Better Cycle Coaching, Caz Clarke.

The bike education session for over 55s is a tailored small group course, designed to empower you to:

complete a safety check on your bike and equipment
check that your bike is correctly fitted and adjusted for you
develop basic bike control skills such as braking, cornering, straight line riding, using gears, and stopping in an emergency
build confidence in essential on-road techniques such as signalling, scanning, and using eye contact
increase knowledge about riding around town confidently such as using shared paths and bike lanes and using local maps and apps for route planning

There will be lots of time for Q&A. Bookings essential!
