To date, on the land at Chapel Lane, a range of protection measures such as silt and sediment protection fencing and weed control and management have occurred.
The remaining works on the land are to be carried out and completed in accordance with the VCAT Enforcement Order P1553/2020, and include remediation works such as regrading and rock work to support and stabilise erosion in specific areas on the site and rehabilitation such as revegetation.
Remediation and rehabilitation works are scheduled to commence on the land after Monday 8 July 2024 and will be in accordance with Council and Melbourne Water requirements.
