Council is delivering an upgrade to the Diamond Creek Dog Park. To ensure the works are completed efficiently and safely, the park will be closed from January to mid-March 2026. Thank you for your patience and support as we enhance this much loved community space.
The Diamond Creek Dog Park is a much-loved community space for the Diamond Creek community. The upgrade aims to enhance the park’s usability, safety and accessibility, and revitalise a popular recreational space and further activate the area for all user groups.
Nillumbik Shire Council has received a $300,000 grant from the Victorian Government through the Open Space for Everyone - New and Upgraded Dog Parks Program.
Following recent community consultation on a concept design, plans have been revised to include:
The upgrades will be funded with $300,000 through the Victorian Government’s Open Space for Everyone - New and Upgraded Dog Parks Program.
Construction to commence in early 2026. Due to the nature of the works to be completed, the Diamond Creek Dog Park will be closed during the construction period.
