Death Cafe - Dying To Know Day 2025

Nillumbik Shire Council’s Ageing Well team is hosting a Death Café in recognition of Dying To Know Day.

Dying To Know Day encourages all Australians to develop knowledge and attitudes about how to deal with death, dying and bereavement, and support each other at the end of life.

Catherine Ashton, author of the resource Critical Info and host of podcast Don’t Be Caught Dead, will join us for scones and open discussion about experiences around death and dying, fears and planning for the inevitable.

Join us as an active participant or sit and listen to other members of the group to broaden your knowledge and spark your curiosity with death as a part of our (infinite) life.

The Death Cafe provides an accessible space for discussion, rather than grief support or counselling. If you are interested in the event but unsure whether attending a Death Cafe at this time is for you, email agedcare@nillumbik.vic.gov.au.

Registration is essential through the Ageing Well team.

Morning tea provided.
