Planting Prep

This upcoming weekend we are holding our monthly working bee. This month we are focusing on prepping the ground , mulching and other activities to help give our native plants the best possible start and chance of establishing. It is a great chance to relax, get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors with neighbours.

No experience is needed, we'll show you what to do and provide everything you will need. Stay afterwards for a cuppa and morning tea as a reward for your efforts.

What to Bring:

  • Sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots.
  • Comfortable outdoor clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.
  • Appropriate clothing (sun protection - hat, sunscreen, long sleeves or raincoat if appropriate).
  • Gardening gloves - we have some available if needed but not in a wide variety of sizes.

We are always welcoming new members into our group. If you’ve been thinking of getting more involved in local bushcare, this is a lovely low-pressure way to start. So come along if you’re curious and say hello.
