Council's Emergency Management Unit is delivering a series of Preparedness Pop-Ups across the community.
These informal drop-in sessions are designed to help residents build confidence and knowledge around getting ready for emergencies such as bushfires, storms and other extreme events.
Each pop-up offers practical tips, resources, and conversations tailored to local needs. The first preparedness pop-up for 2026 is being delivered in partnership with the Country Fire Authority (CFA) and will focus on Residential Fire Safety including smoke alarms and detection, heaters, chimneys, and cooking in kitchens.
