There are different prices for Nillumbik residents and non-residents.

Nillumbik residents

To be eligible for discounted rates, Nillumbik residents will need show proof of residency (such as a rates notice or current photo ID showing your Nillumbik address).

Items by the load

Items in loads are charged by the size of your load. The largest load accepted is a high-sided 8x6 trailer.

No trucks of any size (including light duty) or commercial quantities accepted. 

Items accepted in loads include:

  • garden materials and green waste (you can also use a green waste voucher on your rates notice)
  • broken furniture
  • hard waste
  • plaster
  • polystyrene, foam and bean bag beans
  • processed wood eg treated pine posts or sleepers, fence paling, untreated timber
  • other things that can't be recycled.
