Recycling Centre

Nillumbik Shire Council's Recycling Centre accepts a range of different items for reuse, recycling or disposal.

Some items are accepted at a cost. Nillumbik residents are eligible for special rates.

Friday to Monday from 8am-4pm

No trucks of any size (including light duty) or commercial quantities are accepted. The largest load accepted is a high-sided 8x6 trailer.

Nillumbik residents can drop off green waste at the Recycling Centre using a green waste voucher on the rate notice.

Located at the Recycling Centre, the shop sells second-hand goods and and can accept donations of items that are in good condition.

E-waste - anything with a plug, cord or battery - can be safely disposed of at the Recycling Centre.
