Council is expanding the Eltham North Reserve Car Park that services multiple sporting and community groups.
These works will include creating up to 70 additional asphalted car parking spaces and new footpaths, drainage and street lighting.
The works will require removal of several trees, with the layout designed to minimise impact to significant trees.
The car park construction is fully funded by Nillumbik Shire Council.
Works have commenced on site and are expected to be completed by October 2025.
The detailed design is underway and due for completion in November 2024. Construction of the works is scheduled to commence in mid 2025.
