Council has recently undertaken a road safety assessment of Withers Way, Eltham in relation to student safety at Eltham High School.

As a result of this road safety assessment and in consultation with Eltham High School, Council will undertake works to improve safety of students and all road users along Withers Way.

Works

  • Installation of wombat crossing.
  • Changes in priorities at the intersection of Withers Way and Susan Street.
  • Removal of three angled parking spaces adjacent to the school to accommodate the central islands.

Works are now complete.

March 2025

There will be some impact to traffic during this period and detours may be in place at times.
